This week you read two short chapters on the causes, experiences, and outcomes of WWI. History shows us what we have done in the past (good and bad), so we can learn from our successes and our failures.

Read those chapters and then go online to find an article about the recent Russian occupation and intentions to repossess the Crimean and Ukraine territories and why.

I recommend that you NOT use any personal blogs (opinion pieces) and instead use reliable news sources: Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Tampa Bay Times, Los Angeles Tribune, Newsweek, The Economist, or a Meet the Press, CNN, BBC, or PBS network video, or another similar quality journalism source. (No FOX news until they win a Pulitzer, Peabody, or Hearst award.)
