No, I am not the “perfect” role model but I believe there is a God who will judge my thoughts and my actions, so I practice benevolence and give all glory to him. If you ask me, there is a right and there is a wrong. The tricky decisions are when you run into an ethical dilemma; in which I base my decision with help from the 10 commandments.

My conception of spirituality allows me to treat my patients in a holistic manner. I strive to do what is best for my patients. I am not selfish in the way that I will purposely leave my patient unchanged or without timely medication for selfish rewards such as leaving home on time. This is because my spirituality will not allow me to only think of myself. As a nurse I have a duty to advocate for my patient and my worldview is that we should always support one another and lend a hand when we are able to do so. I believe you get in return what you put out into the world. The way I care for my patients is how I would want my nurse to care for me.”
